Howdy fellow bloggers!
I hope your weekend was wonderful! We actually saw
water fall from the sky here in Dallas - it has been so long since that happened
I almost didn't know what it was!
Today I have a very cute little mini album that I made to keep track
of Birthdays through the year. Even though I write them on the calendar, I always
seem to forget someone!
I am hoping that this cute little book will help a little.
I used a LOT of Teresa Collins stuff in this book and a few others as well.
Here's a look,,,
The covers are Teresa Collins Tab File Covers.
I bought a BUNCH of these when they first came out.
I love them - so versatile! The papers that I used were a mix from a couple of
Teresa Collins lines, as well as MME - one of my faves right now!
challenge this month is Die Cutters and I have used a bunch in this little album.
I have used a bunch of these butterflies that you see here thru out the book.
I cut these on my Cricut using MME papers. The calendar pages themselves are from
a die-cut sheet of paper as well. Each month has it's own page, and they
slip out of the page protector so that I can write the names/dates down.
Here I used the die cut and inked around it to leave the negative space.
It is a little hard to see in the photo, but the black and pink polka dot paper
was cut into the scallop shape on my Cricut machine.
The die cut folder on the right is from Teresa Collins, as is the smaller one
that is glued down flat as a mat.
I left a little blank space in the album, to jot down random thoughts.
And I LOVE those little cut-out sayings that I have used on each page
(which really was my reason for making the book, I needed an excuse to use those
cute little cards) it is a set of "Things Your Mother Said" from Crafty Secrets.
Funniest things I have ever seen!
I hope you like my little book. I would love to know what you think - please leave me a comment :)
Thanks for hopping by and have a great week!
